i saw this artist's work while attending the recent encaustic conference at montserrat college in beverly, ma, where her work was featured in the main gallery. i love the way that she uses the wax, the color, translucence and textural subtleties one can only see from getting very close to the work. i was also drawn to her use of other materials and her construction of intriguing, slightly disturbing, yet alluring sculpture with excellent craftsmanship...see more here.
