i just read a really interesting article on this artist's work in art in america, june/july, 2009. i'm so intrigued by the psyche of every artist and how it manifests in the work, which is why i study raw art with such interest. she's an interesting woman-an artist, writer, poet-with an interesting, albeit sad, life's story. one can truly see the fragmenting of a life in her work, but despite that, there exists a sense of wonder and whimsy as well...see more here and here.
